  • James R. Schrier was a presenter at the Indiana Farm Bureau's annual Drainage School held on August 27th in Indianapolis.  This seminar focused on Indiana drainage issues and the regulations that control drainage laws and dispute resolutions.  Surface water, common law concerns, legislative issues, floodway mapping, levees, dams and public trust doctrine were all discussed.  These issues were all addressed in depth with particular interest relating to the Indiana Dept. of Natural Resources and Indiana Dept. of Environmental Management.

  • Receptionist, Karon Jobe, offered her time on Sept. 2 at the Tippecanoe County United Food Pantry.  This day of volunteership served 51 clients in need.  This program has been operating since 2013, partnering with Food Finders, and distributing aid at the Bauer Community Center in Lafayette.  

  • RTS is sponsoring the 12th Annual Arni's Charity Classic being held on Sept. 18, 2014 at Purgatory Golf Club.

  • RTS is sponsoring the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction being held on Oct. 16, 2014 at the Purdue Memorial Union Ballroom.  This event brings together local chefs to showcase and taste their talents.  A live & silent auction will take place as well as entertainment and wine tasting to round out the day.  This community event hopes to raise $50,000 for their 2014 goal.
